About Children First
Children First is a not-for-profit organisation that provides preschool, long day care, before and after school care, and vacation care services in the Blacktown area. It operates out of six sites and approximately 700 children attend these services in any week. In addition to providing childcare services from its own centres, Children First, which is a service of Growing Potential Ltd., is funded to operate family support services to centres, families and children across Western Sydney.

About the role
Casual Certificate III Educator
As a Casual Early Childhood Educator (Certificate III), you will work closely with children, families, and fellow educators to provide high-quality education and care. You will contribute to a positive learning environment, support children's development and wellbeing, and assist with implementing engaging educational programs.
This is a casual position, with shifts offered based on the operational needs of the service. Flexibility and availability to work across different rooms and age groups will be highly regarded.
You will be offered a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to work within a supportive and professional team setting.
Commencing ASAP, you will be offered a competitive rate with generous benefits including:

Key Requirements
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years' experience preferred
- Current First Aid Certificate, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis Training
- Current Working with Children Check (Paid Employment) or willingness to obtain
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check through our approved provider if successful
- Completion of Mandatory Child Safe Training
- Completion of Child Protection Training
- Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), including the Education and Care Services National Regulations, National Quality Standard (NQS), and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Ability to build warm, responsive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Positive, friendly, and professional attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Initiative and ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality education and care while promoting children's safety, wellbeing, and rights at all times.
