Sunshine Mitre 10 is looking for an adaptable and motivated Internal Sales Consultant to join our Trade Sales team.
You will work with our existing customer base, reconnecting with dormant and non-transacting customers, encouraging increased customer spending and converting marketing leads into sales. You will also help develop new customer relationships.
No two days will be the same, so this role will suit someone who can multitask, solve problems and work confidently in a busy sales environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact dormant and non-transacting customers to generate sales
- Build relationships and increase spending among existing customers
- Follow up and convert marketing leads
- Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email
- Provide helpful product advice and after-sales service
- Coordinate orders and deliveries with despatch teams
- Work towards agreed sales targets
- Report directly to the Trade Sales Manager
About You
- Timber industry knowledge is essential
- Previous sales or customer service experience
- Confident communicating with customers by phone and email
- Proactive, reliable and comfortable working independently
- Strong relationship-building and problem-solving skills
- Organized, with excellent attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple enquiries in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude and genuine drive to grow sales
- Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and internal ordering systems
