About the Role
We are currently seeking a casual Presentation Coordinator to join our dedicated team. This position requires working rotating shifts that operate 24 /7 and 365 days a year, including weekends, nights and public holidays.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
- The on-air transmission of programs and related material, keeping to station schedules and timings.
- Making schedule modifications to manage emergencies or changing transmission needs.
- Maintain the output of multi-regional channels via the network automation playlists.
- Preview and check pre-transmission preparation of material, playlists and maintenance of required databases.
- Identifying and escalating equipment maintenance issues.
- Identifying and recommending better procedures to streamline Presentation resources and processes.
About You
The ideal applicant will possess:
- High degree of computer literacy and proven experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Sound understanding of network scheduling, multiple playlist management, transmission time zone implications, program classification and CAD commercial classification system.
- Proven experience and skills in switching "live" events to air along with setting up and checking appropriate sources.
- An understanding of the broadcast requirements for live sports including Cricket, Australian Rules Football, Motorsport, Cycling, Golf, Rugby and Tennis will be highly regarded.
- Proven experience with network affiliate broadcasting will be highly regarded.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Continually delivers results through collaborating with others.
- Ability to work independently and foresee consequences when making decisions.
- High degree of initiative to make suggestions and offer proactive solutions.
- Ability to adapt to change and be a team player.
