We are seeking experienced Consultant Psychiatrists for multiple locum opportunities at Royal Darwin Hospital in Darwin, Northern Territory.

We currently have opportunities across three areas of mental health:

Available Positions

1. Consultant Psychiatrist – Mental Health Emergency
? 24 August 2026 to 29 January 2027

2. Consultant Psychiatrist – Outpatient (Access Team)
? 3 October 2026 to 29 January 2027

3. Consultant Psychiatrist – Forensic
? 12 October 2026 to 29 January 2027

Provide specialist psychiatric assessment and clinical management within a forensic mental health setting, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support patients with complex mental health needs.

Remuneration & Perks

- $3,000 per day

About the Roles

These locum opportunities offer the chance to work within a major hospital and multidisciplinary mental health service in Darwin.

The successful Consultant Psychiatrist will be responsible for providing high-quality specialist psychiatric care, clinical assessment, treatment planning and management appropriate to the relevant service.
