We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Carpenter to join our growing property maintenance team.

This isn’t a role where you’ll be stuck on the same construction site for months at a time. You’ll be working across a variety of residential properties, attending maintenance jobs, diagnosing issues and completing quality repairs for our clients.

We need someone who is reliable, organised, confident working independently and takes genuine pride in their workmanship.

The Role

As a Maintenance Carpenter, your day-to-day work will include:

- General carpentry repairs and maintenance

- Door, jamb, lock and hardware repairs/replacements

- Timber repairs and replacement

- Decking, stairs, handrails and external timber repairs

- Skirting boards, architraves and internal carpentry

- Wall, ceiling and minor plaster repairs

- Cabinetry and general property repairs

- Minor building and maintenance works

- Investigating maintenance issues and identifying the best repair solution

- Taking clear photos and providing accurate job information

- Communicating professionally with tenants, property managers and our office team

- Identifying additional works required while onsite

- Keeping your vehicle, tools and work areas organised and presentable

What We’re Looking For

You’ll ideally have:

- Qualified Carpenter or strong demonstrated carpentry experience

- Experience in property maintenance, renovations or reactive repairs

- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability

- Confidence working independently

- High standard of workmanship

- Good communication and customer service skills

- Ability to manage multiple jobs throughout the day

- Good time management and organisation

- Current Victorian driver licence





- Own hand tools

- A professional and positive attitude

Experience working in rental properties, real estate maintenance, insurance repairs or facilities maintenance will be highly regarded.
