About the role
Therapies for Kids' Narrandera clinic is growing, and we're hiring across three disciplines to strengthen our transdisciplinary team supporting children and families across the Riverina. We're looking for a Physiotherapist / Exercise Physiologist, an Occupational Therapist, and a Speech Pathologist to join our existing team, delivering high-quality, evidence-based paediatric care to children aged 0–18 with a wide range of developmental and physical needs.
Role 1 — Physiotherapist / Exercise Physiologist
Key responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify each child's needs and developing tailored treatment plans
- Delivering physiotherapy or exercise physiology interventions to support children's physical, cognitive and social development within a multidisciplinary practice
- Using on-site equipment — including suit therapy, Spider Cage, vibration therapy, eStim and treadmill — where clinically appropriate
- Collaborating with parents, carers and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care
- Maintaining detailed clinical records in accordance with professional and organisational standards
About you
- Degree qualification in Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology
- Current AHPRA registration (Physiotherapists) or ESSA accreditation (Exercise Physiologists)
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- A genuine interest in paediatric practice
- Solid clinical assessment and evidence-based intervention skills
Role 2 — Occupational Therapist
Key responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualised treatment plans
- Supporting children's development of fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, self-care and social-emotional skills
- Working across the clinic, local schools, preschools and family homes
- Collaborating with families, teachers and other professionals for a holistic, child-centred approach
- Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records
- Participating in team meetings and professional development, including video link-ups with our Sydney team
About you
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, with current AHPRA registration
- New graduates with a genuine interest in paediatrics are encouraged to apply — a structured support program is available
- Experience with physical and intellectual disabilities desirable
- Equipment prescription experience advantageous
Role 3 — Speech Pathologist
Key responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify children's needs
- Developing and implementing individualised therapy plans for speech, language and communication difficulties
- Delivering therapy sessions tailored to each child's needs and goals
- Collaborating with families, educators and other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care
- Maintaining detailed clinical records and providing progress updates to families and referring professionals
About you
- Degree in Speech Pathology, with full certification/registration with Speech Pathology Australia
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong clinical skills in assessing and treating speech, language and communication disorders in children
