About you:
Due to internal movements, we are seeking two motivated, ambitious, and skilled individuals to join our centralised administration team in a full-time, permanent capacity working from our Mackay Branch.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a sizable and supportive team of twelve, while gaining exposure to a diverse range of administrative and accounts-related responsibilities. The role provides an excellent opportunity to further develop your skills, broaden your experience,
and make a meaningful contribution to the ongoing success of Fenner’s business.
Reporting to the Commercial Accountant Team Lead, this position is ideally suited to someone with proven administrative and accounts management experience who is eager to grow, contribute to a high-performing team, and take ownership of day-to-day administrative operations.
You will bring a strong background in administrative support, with demonstrated experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. You are highly organised, service-focused, and detail-oriented, with well-developed problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively prioritise and manage competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
To succeed in this role, you'll bring proven experience in administrative support and a proactive mindset. Your ability to meet deadlines, communicate effectively, and build strong relationships with both colleagues and stakeholders will be key to your success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the finance team by raising and receipting purchase orders against job orders using Epicor
- Ensuring goods are received in good condition and match required specifications
- Monitoring and managing site stationery supplies
- Preparing and managing monthly job costings
- Updating and maintaining various registers, managing the support and sales inboxes, and following up on queries promptly
- Coordinating travel and accommodation bookings and offering general admin support to branch employees
- Assisting with payroll timesheet entry and supporting month-end reporting as needed
