About the role
We are seeking an experienced Financial Adviser to join a growing team in Rockhampton. This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact within the organization. As a Senior Financial Adviser, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive financial planning services to a diverse client base, leveraging your expertise to provide strategic advice and solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive financial needs analyses for clients to understand their financial objectives and circumstances
- Developing and implementing tailored financial plans that align with clients' long-term goals
- Providing strategic advice on investments, superannuation, insurance, tax planning and retirement strategies
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through regular review meetings and ongoing communication
- Ensuring compliance with relevant financial services regulations and internal policies
- Identifying opportunities to expand client relationships and manage a growing client portfolio
- Collaborating with team members and support staff to deliver seamless client service
What we're looking for
- Minimum of 2-5 years' experience as a financial adviser or in a related financial planning role
- Strong knowledge of financial planning principles, investment strategies, superannuation and tax-effective wealth planning
- Current or ability to obtain relevant financial services licenses (such as Australian Financial Services Licensee accreditation or equivalent skilled qualifications)
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and deliver exceptional customer service
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency with financial planning software and general IT systems
- A skilled demeanor and commitment to ethical business practices
- Experience in business development and client acquisition is highly desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting or business are preferred
