About Us

Blackwood Cronulla is a busy, much-loved local cafe known for great coffee, quality food, and a genuinely welcoming vibe. We're on the lookout for a Cafe Supervisor to help lead our floor team and keep service running smoothly during our busiest periods.

About the Role

As Cafe Supervisor, you'll be a key part of our leadership team, working the floor day-to-day while supporting the smooth running of the business. You'll set the tone for the team with a positive, can-do attitude and help make sure every guest has a great experience.

What You'll Be Doing

- Working the floor during service, leading by example with hands-on hospitality

- Supervising and supporting staff during busy shifts, keeping the team motivated and on track

- Assisting with day-to-day operations — rostering support, stock checks, opening/closing procedures

- Training and mentoring new and existing team members

- Handling customer queries and resolving issues quickly and professionally

- Maintaining high standards of service, presentation,



and cleanliness

- Stepping in wherever needed: coffee, floor, or jucie support to keep service flowing

- Helping foster a positive, high-energy culture within the team

What We're Looking For

- Proven experience in a hospitality environment

- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience

- A genuine can-do attitude; someone who rolls up their sleeves and gets stuck in

- Strong communication and people skills

- Ability to stay calm, organised, and solutions-focused under pressure

- A positive, natural leader who brings energy to the team

- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and peak trade periods

- Solid barista skills highly regarded
