Meat Production Worker | Lytton | $39.20/hr + OT & Penalties
A national leader in commercial meat processing and food distribution is growing its Queensland operation due to increased business and customer demand.
We are looking for multiple reliable Production Workers to join a friendly team in Lytton. This is a hands-on role suited to people who are comfortable working in a fast-paced food production environment and take pride in doing a good job and following safe work practices.
The role is ongoing Monday to Friday position offering competitive pay and the opportunity to learn and develop recent skills.
Location: Lytton (must be located in the Brisbane region).
Duties
- Operate packing and processing machinery, including Cryovac and packing machines.
- Open cartons, roll and bond tenderloins, and pack meat products.
- Assist with scraping meat from bones, mincing and marinating meat.
- Complete general hands-on production and packing duties.
- Follow workplace health,
safety and food handling procedures.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous production or packing experience is preferred. Food industry experience preferred but not essential.
- Comfortable performing manual and repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately and safely.
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test and pre-employment medical.
