As a Medical Administrator at Therapies for Kids', you will play a pivotal role in supporting the smooth and efficient operations of our dedicated paediatric therapy practice. This full-time role is based in Sydney's Inner West.
Key responsibilities
- Manage client scheduling, maintain comprehensive medical records, and liaise with the clinical team
- Process NDIS and HICAPS claims
- Ensure data integrity across the practice management software
- Bank reconciliation
- Follow up on outstanding invoices
- Provide exceptional customer service to our clients and their families, addressing queries and concerns in a compassionate manner
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of office procedures and policies
About you
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical administrative role, preferably in a paediatric or allied health setting
- NDIS knowledge highly desirable
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate data entry and record-keeping
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Proficiency in using practice management software and electronic medical record systems
- Familiarity with medical billing and insurance processing procedures
- A genuine interest in supporting the health and wellbeing of children
- Flexibility between 8am and 6pm
