An opportunity is available for an experienced Client Manager to join a Melbourne-based accounting team.
This role would suit an experienced accounting professional with 5+ years' experience in a professional accounting firm who enjoys working closely with clients, mentoring team members and contributing to business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients, including client relationships, task turnaround and WIP management.
- Participate in and independently lead client meetings.
- Perform analytical reviews of your own and the team's work to identify client opportunities and risks.
- Review and sign off on client work.
- Draft advice on financial, taxation and investment matters for Partner review.
- Provide technical guidance, training and mentorship to team members.
- Develop strategies to support Division 7A compliance.
- Research technical matters and compile insights to support decision-making.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
- Contribute to workplace groups and firm-wide initiatives.
About You
- 5+ years' experience within a professional accounting firm.
- CA qualification preferred, with CPA-qualified candidates also considered.
- Strong leadership, collaboration and mentoring skills.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- A proactive approach to client service and business growth.
- Strong technical understanding and the ability to confidently work with clients and team members.
Salary
$100,000 – $135,000 + Super, depending on experience.
