Summary
Help enhance the smooth operation at St Eugene College with your ability to provide exceptional support across student learning programs (both at school and in the workplace).

- Work hours: 15.2 hours per week
- Salary: School Officer Level 4 - $36.98/ hr + 12.75% Super (School Salary Scale)

About the opportunity
In this position you will be responsible for:
- Assist with the establishment of developmentally appropriate student learning programs (both at school and in the workplace) around employment transitioning, either individually or in groups, for identified students under the supervision of the Leader of Learning Services, Deputy Principal and Guidance Counsellors.
- Case manage and carry out liaison between the school, employers, the students and the students' families in relation to achieving successful employment transition outcomes.
- Provide significant assistance to students with work preparation; eg transport, interview techniques, resume writing skills, customer service or other tasks associated with their work placement.
- Liaise with employers and external agencies such as
- STEPS
- Australian Apprenticeship Centre or Group Training Organisations,
- Registered Training Organisations and parents for the placement sign up.
- Attend the sign up within reasonable hours of duty.
- Liaise with TAFE and other registered RTO's regarding student enrolments, placements and administrative matters.
- Monitor and assist students in the workplace or at TAFE.
- Maintain displays, noticeboards, and careers resource information collections.
- Administer all appropriate paperwork (Work Experience Agreement/Vocational Placement Agreement), required for each student's work placement using established computer software programs.
- Use a range of Microsoft Office, BCE enterprise systems and other software in order to perform general administration duties as part of the VET and SAT College processes.
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Having provided a wide variety of administrative and operational support
- Coordinating tasks to meet deadlines and commitments, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery
- Advising on administrative tasks and processes, driving process improvements
- Understanding of compliance within a school and delivering on relevant legislation, policy and procedures
- Led and supported administrative staff,
ensuring their smooth onboarding and providing effective training for optimal performance
- For this position you are not required to be Catholic
Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement.
