Public Sector People are working with QLD State Government department based in Brisbane CBD who have seeking an A06 Project Officer to join their organisation on a temporary contract until 14th March 2027.

Overview:

- Project Lead - A06
- Proposed start date of Monday the 14th of September 2026
- Contract until 14th March 2027 + extension
- Pay rates from $78 per hour + super

What's involved:

The Project Lead will support the office relocation project by undertaking activities including:

- Supporting development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, action registers and implementation.
- Co-ordinating meetings, actions, dependencies and project documentation
- Supporting change impact assessment,



stakeholder engagement and transition activities
- Assisting with move-day coordination and immediate post-relocation support
- Contributing to project close-out and lessons learned documentation

The role is intended to provide operational and administrative project support under the direction of the contract manager, EM Corporate Governance and Performance.

Demand is expected to remain consistent across a six-month term, with peak activity during:

- project mobilisation and planning
- stakeholder engagement and change preparation
- physical relocation and transition
- post-move stabilisation.
