You'll be working on heavy diesel fleet vehicles with steady workflow and a team that backs each other. We're looking for a capable Automotive Technician who can diagnose properly, work safely, and get jobs done without constant supervision.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, driveline, braking, steering, suspension and cooling systems
- Preventative maintenance and inspections for fleet customers
- Fault finding using scan tools and hands-on testing
- Complete job cards, notes, and service documentation clearly
- Keep the workshop clean, safe, and organised
- Work with other technicians to hit deadlines and keep quality high
About you
- Qualified automotive trade (Cert III trade certificate)
- Robust diagnostic ability (electrical knowledge is a plus)
- Fleet or heavy vehicle experience preferred (buses highly regarded)
- Current driver's licence (MR/HR ideal but not essential)
- Reliable, punctual, and takes ownership of outcomes
- Safety-first mindset and pride in workmanship
- 3rd/4th year apprentices or light vehicle trades looking to upskill welcome to apply
