We're seeking an experienced Identity & Access Management (IAM) Officer to support and enhance a large-scale enterprise IAM environment within the Queensland Department of Education.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly skilled cyber security and information security team, contributing to the delivery of secure access management services across one of Queensland's largest ICT environments.
Key Responsibilities

- Support and maintain enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms
- Manage user lifecycle processes including provisioning, modifications and deprovisioning
- Configure and support authentication and authorisation services
- Assist with onboarding applications into IAM and federation platforms
- Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related incidents and service requests
- Support identity governance, reconciliation and access control activities
- Collaborate with project and operational teams to deliver IAM solutions aligned with security standards
- Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills & Experience Required

- 3+ years' experience in Identity & Access Management within a large enterprise environment
- Robust experience with Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM/FIM) and Active Directory
- Experience with authentication,



authorisation and identity lifecycle management
- Knowledge of federation technologies and protocols including SSO, SAML and OAuth
- Experience integrating applications with enterprise IAM solutions
- Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder engagement skills

Highly Desirable
- Experience with Ping Identity Suite (PingFederate, PingAccess)
- Exposure to Privileged Access Management (PAM/PAS) solutions such as CyberArk, BeyondTrust or Delinea
- Identity governance and access management experience
- Scripting or development experience in C#, .NET, Java or PowerShell
- Experience working within government or other large complex ICT environments
