About the Role
Reporting to senior leadership, the Senior Gaming Analyst plays a key role in supporting the performance, compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement of gaming operations across Mounties Group.
You will provide detailed analysis of gaming performance, oversee data integrity and reporting processes, support gaming systems and operational initiatives, and work closely with gaming technicians and operational stakeholders to ensure informed business decisions and efficient outcomes.
This is a hands-on role that combines analytical expertise with operational knowledge to drive performance and support strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly gaming reconciliations and performance reporting
- Analyse gaming machine performance, revenue trends, and operational metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
- Manage and support gaming systems, databases, and reporting tools
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical models using Excel and other reporting platforms
- Support gaming floor renovations, system enhancements, and implementation projects
- Work closely with gaming technicians and key stakeholders to investigate issues and improve operational performance
- Ensure compliance with the NSW Registered Clubs Act, gaming legislation, AML requirements, and Responsible Gaming standards
- Maintain data integrity and provide accurate reporting to management
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement efficiencies across gaming operations
- Follow structured operational controls and reporting procedures to maintain accuracy and consistency
About You
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a gaming analytics, gaming operations, gaming systems, or similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide meaningful insights
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, data modelling, pivot tables, dashboard development, and automation
- Experience working with gaming systems, databases, reporting tools, or operational technology environments
- Robust understanding of gaming performance metrics and gaming operations
- Experience supporting gaming renovations, technology projects, or system implementations will be highly regarded
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Self-motivated with a proactive and hands-on approach
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and operational teams
- A genuine desire to develop professionally and progress into more senior leadership opportunities over time
