Clinician Level 2 – C2BMe | Bega; Southeast NSW

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults through our Continuing to be Me (C2BMe) program.

Join Uniting’s C2BMe team and provide evidence-based mental health support to residents across aged care facilities throughout Bega and surrounding areas. As a Clinician Level 2, you’ll deliver person-centred clinical care, therapeutic interventions and recovery-focused support that promotes the mental health and wellbeing of older adults.

About the role

- Fixed-term contract for up to June 2027, with possibility of extension
- Part-time, 3 days per week, with Friday one of the preferred working days
- Outreach role across Bega and surrounding areas, with some flexibility to work from home
- Clinician Level 2 – $44.16 - $47.51 per hour + salary packaging + superannuation

This is an chance to work autonomously across a range of aged care settings, build meaningful relationships with older adults and care teams, and see the direct impact of your therapeutic work.

About the Program

C2BMe provides low- and medium-intensity mental health interventions to older adults living in residential aged care. Our recovery-oriented approach supports people to improve their mental health, wellbeing and quality of life through individual and group therapies

What You'll Be Doing

- Provide therapeutic intervention to older individuals experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues.
- Conduct assessments, including bio-psychosocial and risk assessments, and track outcomes.
- Facilitate group therapy, such as art and reminiscing therapy.
- Attend regular clinical review meetings, group supervision (monthly), and operational supervision (every 6 weeks).
- Work autonomously, managing your own schedule and caseload.

What you need to succeed

- Qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or Counselling.
- Registration with relevant professional bodies (APA, PACFA, ACA or AASW).
- 1-2 years’ experience in mental health intervention.
- A valid driver’s license and own vehicle.




- Familiarity with electronic medical records.
- Ability to work autonomously and stay organised

- Experience working in aged care facilities.
- Providing mental health support to older adults.
