Basil's Fine Foods is looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Deli Assistants to join our friendly team in Mindarie .

We have full-time, part-time, and casual positions available, with 3–5 shifts per week for the right candidates.

About the Role

As a Deli Assistant, you'll be an significant part of creating a great shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing friendly, knowledgeable service at the deli counter

- Serving a variety of fresh hot and cold foods

- Preparing and presenting deli products to a high standard

- Keeping display cabinets clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing

- Rotating stock and assisting with inventory control

- Maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards

- Working as part of a team to ensure the deli operates smoothly

About You





We're looking for someone who is:

- A strong communicator with a positive attitude

- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

- Flexible to work across a rotating roster

Our store is open 7 days a week from 7:00am to 8:00pm , so flexibility is essential.

Experience

Previous deli or food retail experience is preferred but not essential . We provide full training for the right person, so if you're eager to learn and ready to work, we encourage you to apply.
