Job Description

We are seeking a full time Cook to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to a high standard, ensuring food safety and supporting the kitchen team in delivering an excellent dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

Preparing ingredients for traditional Malaysian dishes

Preparing meats and vegetables, including marinating meats

Checking the freshness and quality of food and vegetables

Deep-frying, frying, stir-frying, steaming, grilling and boiling food in accordance with company recipes

Maintaining consistent taste, quality and presentation

Working collaboratively with other kitchen staff

Maintaining a clean,



hygienic and organised kitchen

Monitoring stock levels to ensure sufficient supplies are available for cooking

Skill & Experience

About You

The successful applicant will have:

A minimum of two years’ relevant experience as a Cook

Strong knowledge of Asian cuisine

The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment

Good communication and teamwork skills

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required

A relevant cookery or hospitality qualification
