About the role

Dale Britton Motorcycles Honda & Cfmoto dealership is seeking an experienced Motorcycle Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis Monday to Friday at our Victoria Park location in WA 6100. This is a hands-on technical role that forms the backbone of our service operations, ensuring our customers receive the highest standard of motorcycle maintenance and repair work. As a Motorcycle Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing motorcycles to the highest industry standards, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and the reputation of Dale Britton Motorcycles.

Key responsibilities

1. Perform comprehensive diagnostic assessments on motorcycles to identify mechanical and electrical faults

2. Conduct routine maintenance services including oil changes, tyre replacements, brake servicing, and chain maintenance

3. Repair and replace engine components, transmission systems, suspension, and braking systems

4. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems using appropriate testing equipment

5. New motorcycle pre delivery

6. Communicate effectively with the workshop manager regarding repair work, timelines, and costs

7. Maintain and organise workshop tools and equipment

What we're looking for

1. A recognised trade qualification in motorcycle mechanics

2. Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience working as a motorcycle mechanic

3. Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and workshop tools

4. Strong mechanical knowledge of motorcycle engines, transmission systems, and electrical systems

5. Ability to read and interpret technical service manuals and wiring diagrams

6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

7.



Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach

8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

9. A valid driving license

10. Preferably, experience with a range of motorcycle brands and models

11. Knowledge of current health and safety workplace regulations

12. Forklift license an advantage

13. Australian citizenship is a must (NO SPONSORSHIP)
