Djinda Dreaming Education- Leda and Quinns Rocks are seeking passionate and dedicated Educators to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a culturally rich, inclusive environment that values connection to Country and community. This is a part-time role. 15-38 hours per week.

Djinda Dreaming is a proudly Aboriginal-owned organisation based in Perth, committed to preserving and sharing Noongar culture. Our childcare services are grounded in traditional knowledge and contemporary best practice, offering meaningful early learning experiences enriched by Aboriginal perspectives.
The Role
As a valued member of our team, you will:
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
- Develop and implement age-appropriate programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Foster strong, respectful relationships with children and families
- Ensure health, safety, and wellbeing of all children in your care
- Support routines such as meals, sleep/rest, and transitions
- Maintain documentation, including observations, incident/accident forms, and attendance records
- Contribute to a positive team culture and ongoing quality improvement
- Participate in professional development and reflective practices
- Support and mentor educators in curriculum planning, documentation, and reflective practice.
- Drive continuous improvement and embed the EYLF across all age groups.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Diploma/ Cert 3 Educators in Early Childhood Education and Care (or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education) or Cert 3 Trainee
- A current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Sound knowledge of the NQS and EYLF (not applicable if a trainee)
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts (including opening/closing)
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- A commitment to inclusive, culturally responsive practice
- A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
