What you'll be responsible for:
- Carrying out servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance across the drill fleet
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults
- Responding to breakdowns and delivering timely repairs to minimize downtime
- Maintaining the highest standard of safety, compliance and workmanship
- Provide technical support and guidance to drilling operations.
- Accurately completing maintenance documentation and work orders in line with compliance standards
What you bring:
- Australian recognised Trade Certificate
- Hold a current and valid Australian Driver's License
- Proven experience as a Drill Fitter or HD Fitter working on drill rigs within an open pit mining environment
- Solid hand on experience with Drilling equipment
- Sound fault-finding, diagnostic and problem-solving skills across hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems
- A strong commitment to safety, teamwork and accountability
- The ability to work autonomously and deliver high-quality workmanship in remote mining environments
- Ability to meet all site requirements (including, but not limited to Medical, DAS, NPC, valid work rights)
