What you'll do:
- Administer and assist with medications safely and accurately in accordance with individualised care plans
- Monitor client health and medication responses, immediately reporting adverse reactions or changes in condition to nursing staff
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date,
and confidential Medication Administration Records (MAR) and documentation
- Deliver person-centred care that promotes client independence, dignity, rights, privacy, and active participation in their medication routine
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with nursing staff, pharmacists, and other multidisciplinary health professionals
- Follow strict infection control standards, secure work practices, and organizational policies when handling and storing medications
- Work strictly within your scope of practice, seeking guidance from clinical staff when required
- Contribute to a safe workplace by identifying and reporting hazards and complying with Quality Management and WHS requirements.

- Australian work rights
- HLTHPS006 Assist clients with medication
- 6 months experience as medication competent Carer
- Certificate III in Aged Care (Disability not accepted)
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current First Aid certificate
- Excellent communication skills
