YEM Technology is looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our team at the Sino Iron Project on a 2:1 FIFO roster ex Perth.

YEM Technology is a Western Australian maintenance, commissioning, construction and electrical company specialising in fixed plant maintenance, shutdown maintenance, greenfield and brownfield SMPE&I; construction services across the mining and mineral processing sectors.

About the Role
This is a permanent and casual opportunity based at Cape Preston, WA, working a 2:1 roster (one week days, one week nights, one week off). Shifts are 12 hours including a 30 minute paid lunch break.
What You Will Be Doing

- Performing maintenance, repair and installation of fixed plant equipment
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance
- Contributing to protected and efficient shutdown execution




- Working within a skilled, integrated maintenance team

What We’re Looking For
Essential:

- Australian recognised Mechanical Fitter trade certificate
- HRWL: Elevated Work Platform (WP)
- Working at Heights (WAH)
- Confined Space Entry (CSE)
- White Card
- Valid C Class driver's licence
- Full Australian Working Rights
- Must be clean shaven and able to wear a respirator mask (3M 7500 or equivalent)

Desirable:

- HRWL: Basic Rigging (RB) or higher
- HRWL: Dogging (DG)
- First Aid / CPR
- Previous FIFO or mining experience
