Production Manager

This business is a leading manufacturer of fertiliser products, operating nationally across Australia. As the business continues to grow, an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Production Manager to lead the manufacturing operations and drive operational excellence.

The Role

Reporting to Senior Management, this hands-on leadership role will be responsible for managing daily operations, optimising production workflows, and lead the production team. Your goal is to ensure high-quality output, maintain safety compliance, and meet production targets efficiently, all with a view to continuous improvements.

You will provide practical leadership to the production team, ensuring adherence to systems and processes, whilst also driving operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Managing daily production activities to meet production, quality, and delivery requirements.

- Monitor process performance and make real-time adjustments to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime

- Ensure compliance with Workplace health and Safety (WHS) legislation, policies and procedures

- Lead, mentor, and develop a production team

- Ensure efficient use of raw materials, equipment, and labour resources

- Work closely with Senior Management to identify operational risks, priorities and improvement opportunities

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality and operational performance

Who You Are :

To be successful in this role, you will bring:





- Previous experience working as a Production Manager, Supervisor or similar leadership role within a manufacturing or production environment

- Strong people management skills with the ability to lead, motivate and build a positive, high performing team

- Demonstrated experience in production planning, process control, and maintenance coordination

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

- Demonstrated leadership experience in manufacturing or similar setting

- Demonstrated knowledge of WHS regulations and quality management systems

- Excellent communications skills, and ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the business
