The Role
Reporting to the Pricing Manager and Scheduling Team Leader, your primary responsibility will be to accurately quantify & order all the materials and labour required to build each individual home.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Calculating & ordering all quantities for homes across a variety of different types including single storey.
- Checking of colleague's work
- Assisting with supplier and Site Manager queries
- Raising purchase orders and sending to all relevant parties
- Approving and processing invoices for suppliers & contractors
- Maintaining strong relationships with Company suppliers
Who We’re Looking For
The successful candidate will ideally possess the following attributes, or be willing to be supported to achieve these:
- Experience in Scheduling in the residential construction industry
- Ability to accurately read and interpret residential building plans
- Trade background experience will be strongly considered
- Be self-motivated with good communication skills
- Must have strong attention to detail & problem solving abilities
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel
- Experience using Truth Engine desirable but not essential
- Recent Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Highly Desirable)
