The Air Conditioning Installer will be responsible for installing split systems and ducted air conditioning units, including mounting indoor and outdoor units, running and connecting pipework, and completing electrical and drainage connections where appropriately licensed. Day-to-day duties include reading and interpreting plans and manufacturer specifications, assessing installation locations, safely handling tools and equipment, and testing systems for correct operation and performance. The role involves diagnosing basic installation issues, making necessary adjustments, cleaning up work areas, and providing clear, respectful communication to customers on system use and maintenance.



The installer will follow all relevant safety standards and company procedures and collaborate with team members to complete jobs efficiently and to a high standard.Qualifications Strong practical skills in air conditioning installation, including working with split system and ducted units and using hand and power tools safely and effectively.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manufacturer instructions, and job documentation to ensure accurate and compliant installations.Knowledge of basic refrigeration and air conditioning principles, including refrigerant handling and pressure testing (appropriate licenses and certifications are an advantage).Commitment to workplace health and safety, including adherence to site safety procedures, safe manual handling, and use of PPE.Effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work well in a team and interact professionally with clients and colleagues.Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites within Adelaide and surrounding areas.Relevant trade qualification or apprenticeship in air conditioning, refrigeration, or a closely related field is highly regarded.Previous experience in residential or commercial HVAC installation and a demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
