Position

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Store Person is responsible for supporting the day to day operations of the warehouse by ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, movement, and dispatch of goods.

The role contributes to efficient warehouse operations through order fulfilment, inventory control,



stock replenishment, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work environment while ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and in accordance with company procedures

Key Responsibilities

- Pick and Pack of customer orders as well as inter warehouse orders for other branches.

- Checking off Inbound shipments which also includes counting stock on hand and reporting any variances to the warehouse manager for investigation.

- Loading and unloading of vehicles. This includes shipping containers with the use of forklifts.

- Accurate processing/data entry of in and out bound freight using RF scanning

- Ensuring the warehouse is a safe workplace adhering to WHS standards

- Preparing equipment and lubrication systems locally ready for freight then install.

Essential Skills/ Qualifications

- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role

- Forklift License

- Good interpersonal skills both verbal and written

- Intermediate computer skills

- Numeracy skills

- Accurate data entry with an eye for detail

- The ability to work well under pressure

- The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team

- Be well reliable and organised.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications

- Truck licence (MR / HR)

- RF Scanning

- Mechanical aptitude

- Strong customer relations

Renumeration

Remuneration will be negotiated based on the applicant's experience, skills, and qualifications.
