We're a fast-paced manufacturing business that values teamwork, organisation and taking pride in producing quality Australian-made trailers.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a practical, organised person to work closely with our Workshop Manager and help keep our production team running efficiently.

About the Role

This is a varied role combining practical workshop support with office-based administration.

You'll spend your day moving between the workshop and office helping keep production organised, following up outstanding tasks, supporting workshop operations and maintaining our production systems.

One day you might be moving trailers, assisting production teams and helping keep the workshop organised. The next you could be updating production records, replying to repair enquiries, organising maintenance or assisting with onboarding new employees.

As your experience grows, you'll have the opportunity to take on greater operational responsibilities and broaden your skills beyond the tools while remaining closely involved in manufacturing.

This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative and likes helping keep a busy manufacturing business running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

- Support day-to-day workshop and production activities

- Follow up outstanding production tasks

- Assist with workshop organisation, cleanliness and readiness

- Move trailers, materials and equipment throughout the workshop and yard

- Operate forklifts where licensed

- Assist with unloading deliveries and maintaining material flow

- Assist with maintenance scheduling and follow-up

- Maintain production records, checklists and business systems

- Update KPI and production information





- Reply to customer repair enquiries

- Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training administration

- Identify and action day-to-day improvements that help keep the workshop organised and operating efficiently

- Take ownership of day-to-day operational tasks to help keep production moving efficiently

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and getting things done.

You'll ideally have experience working in manufacturing, fabrication, production or a workshop workplace and be comfortable both on the workshop floor and using computers.

You'll also have:

- Strong organisational skills

- Excellent follow-through

- A practical, hands-on attitude

- Confidence communicating with tradespeople

- Confident using computers, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and web-based business systems

- Willingness to learn new software and technology, including AI tools such as ChatGPT

- Ability to take ownership of tasks and work with minimal supervision

- High attention to detail

- Full Australian working rights

Highly Regarded

- Current forklift licence

- Manufacturing or fabrication experience

- Experience using production, inventory or CRM software

- Basic welding or fabrication knowledge
