About the role
The Replenishment Team Lead plays a crucial role in advancing Foodbank’s mission by ensuring the Branch Shop remains fully stocked, tidy, and safe for everyone. The role directly supports agencies, charities, and the local community, enhancing the client experience by maximizing product availability.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute daily stock replenishment, including afternoon shift fills
- Ensure all stock on the floor is fit for purpose, with correct date code rotation
- Unload, sort, and store incoming stock in appropriate locations
- Complete all replenishment and housekeeping tasks prior to branch opening
- Set and maintain high standards in storage and pre‑staging areas
- Ensure fresh, good‑quality stock is appropriately presented across all areas
- Coordinate and prepare stock for afternoon replenishment, including let‑downs and pallet pre‑staging to maximize volunteer efficiency
- Conduct inventory and equipment stock takes
- Supervise replenishment activities and support operational efficiency
- Participate in recruitment, induction, training of volunteers and roster management.
- Follow end‑of‑day closing procedures to ensure the branch, warehouse, and office are secure.
- Ensure alarms are set, fridges are checked, and all doors (including roller and emergency doors) are secured
- Develop and maintain a safe, constructive, and effective working environment
- Foster and role‑model excellent operational and safety standards
Essential Criteria:
- Have a passion to make a difference in WA, within a Non-Profit Organisation;
- Supervisory experience, preferably in a food or food related industry;
- Experience previously running a stock replenishment/fill team in a retail environment.
- Experience in working in a highly responsive service culture business;
- Ability to work in a pressured environment which is under resourced and continue to deliver results;
- Knowledge of OH&S; procedures, including COR;
- Awareness of Foodsafe requirements;
- Current and valid forklift license or willingness to get one at Foodbanks expense
- Willingness to work 10 am to 6 pm shift
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in wholesale operations; Prior experience in Coles/Woolworths will be an added advantage
- Understanding of Not-for-profit organizations and Community based Human Services Provision;
- Demonstrated ability to relate to a work force which is predominantly volunteer based;

Other Requirements:
- Must be an Australian Citizen/ Permanent Resident
- Hold valid Australian work rights
- Current and valid WA driver's license
- National Police clearance
- Medical assessment of current health
- Working with Children accreditation
