About the role
This part-time Dental Receptionist role at Dental Quarters in Claremont is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and friendly professional to join our growing dental practice. As our Dental Receptionist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our patients and clinical team.
What you'll be doing
1. Greeting and welcoming patients in a warm and friendly manner
2. Scheduling appointments and managing the practice's appointment calendar
3. Handling patient enquiries and addressing their needs efficiently
4. Performing general administrative duties such as filing, data entry and records management
5. Assisting with billing, insurance claims and other financial tasks
6. Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment
What we're looking for
1. At least 1-2 years of experience in a dental or medical reception role
2. Minimum 6 months of reception experience is acceptable for candidates with medical (non-dental) background
3. Excellent communication and customer service skills
4. Strong organisational and time management abilities
5. Proficiency in using dental practice management software (Dentally) and Microsoft Office suite
6. Prior experience with Dentally software is not mandatory as training will be provided
7. A calm, friendly and professional demeanour
8.
A genuine interest in the dental industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
9. Australian work authorisation is required for this position
