We’re a busy, community‑focused bakery with four thriving stores, and we’re looking for an experienced barista who’s ready for the next step — or someone with natural leadership potential who wants to grow into shift supervision.
About the Role
This position combines hands‑on barista work with the opportunity to develop supervisory skills. You will:
- Prepare high‑quality coffee consistently during peak periods
- Deliver warm, friendly customer service
- Support smooth daily operations, including customer flow and cleanliness
- Work a mix of opening shifts, closing shifts, and rostered weekend shifts
- Communicate clearly with team members and assist with problem‑solving
- Learn and take on shift‑supervisor responsibilities with training and support
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- Strong barista experience (or fast learning ability with the right attitude)
- A calm, positive presence during busy shifts
- Initiative and confidence to step up when needed
- A team‑first mindset and great communication skills
- Reliability, maturity, and pride in their work
- Flexibility to work early starts, late finishes, and weekends as part of the roster
- A strong work ethic and the reliability to support our rapid‑paced, high‑standard team
