About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant and Webster Pack technician to join our team. This role involves preparing and managing dose administration aids for our patients, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with pharmacy standards. This is also an excellent opportunity for an intern pharmacist to gain hands-on experience in medication management services.
Key Responsibilities
Pharmacy Assistant Duties
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Assist customers with non-prescription products and pharmacy enquiries within your scope of practice.
- Process prescriptions and customer transactions as directed by the pharmacist.
- Assist with stock management, ordering, receiving and merchandising.
- Maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure products are stored correctly.
- Assist with maintaining a clean, organised and professional pharmacy environment.
- Assist with inventory control, expiry-date checks and stock rotation.
- Support the pharmacy team with day-to-day operations.
- Refer clinical or medication-related questions to the pharmacist appropriately.
- Prepare Webster packs / Dose Administration Aids accurately and efficiently
- Assist pharmacists with medication packing, checking, and dispensing processes
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Manage stock for packing materials and medications
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy guidelines and safety standards
- Liaise with pharmacists, prescribers, and team members to coordinate workflow
About You
- Pharmacy assistant/ technician experience or interested in intern position. All trainings can be proved for the right candidates.
- Robust attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication skills
- Commitment to patient safety and confidentiality
