Why Urgent Care?

For GPs who enjoy variety, teamwork, and fast-paced clinical work, Urgent Care is an excellent alternative to traditional practice, offering the satisfaction of making a meaningful difference in patients' lives every day while helping reduce pressure on local emergency departments.

You'll provide assessment and treatment for urgent, non-life-threatening conditions, including:

- Acute illness and injury presentations

- Minor procedures and wound management





- Same-day urgent care assessments

- Short-term acute care within a structured clinical framework

Essential Criteria

- FRACGP or FACRRM

- Unrestricted AHPRA registration

- Current ALS certification

- ED, VMO or Urgent Care experience

- Completion of RACGP Indigenous Cultural Awareness and Cultural Safety training (or willingness to complete before commencement)
