About the opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity available for 2 Casual Vegetation Field Team Members based in Southeast Queensland, with ongoing work available depending on project requirements.
This role is ideal for someone seeking adaptable, casual work , as workloads can fluctuate. There will be periods of high demand requiring consistent work.
You will typically work Monday to Friday, 8-10 hour days , across a range of vegetation and land management projects.
Key duties include:
- ·Chemical spraying (vehicle and backpack units)
- ·Whipper snipping and mechanical clearing
- ·Hand weeding and vegetation control
- ·Mulching and tree planting General site maintenance and environmental works
This is a hands-on, field-based role , requiring a strong work ethic and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
About you
Highly regarded (but not essential):
- Previous experience in vegetation management or similar field work ACDC Licence (Agricultural Chemical Distribution Control)
- Chainsaw ticket or other relevant machinery tickets Experience working outdoors in physically demanding roles
- Physically fit, that can lift heavy objects.
Essential requirements:
- White Card (General Construction Induction)
- Ability to work effectively within a team and follow instructions
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Strong commitment to safety and correct use of equipment
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
