Company Description PB Performance + Health provides athlete training, rehab, and allied health services to the great Bendigo region. We are dedicated to empowering individuals through education and movement to lead healthy, active lives. The team works with individual and team athletes, delivering strength and conditioning programs, athlete profiling, and sport-specific testing and training. VALD Technologies and TeamBuildr are used to objectively measure performance and deliver tailored programs for both clients and athletes. Our Exercise Physiology team work closely with the community of greater Bendigo to provide exercise rehabilitation services for those suffering from chronic illness, pain, or returning to activity post operatively. Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Physiotherapist role based in Bendigo, VIC. The Physiotherapist will provide evidence-based assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a range of musculoskeletal and other physical conditions, including post-injury and post-surgical rehabilitation. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting thorough clinical assessments, developing and progressing individualised treatment and exercise programs, and collaborating with Exercise Physiologists and strength & conditioning coaches. The role involves working with clients referred through Medicare, DVA, NDIS, NDIS, WorkCover, and private pathways, as well as supporting athletes with performance, injury treatment, and return-to-sport planning.
The Physiotherapist will maintain accurate clinical documentation, communicate clearly with referrers and stakeholders, and contribute to client education to promote long-term health and activity.Qualifications Recognised degree in Physiotherapy and current registration (or eligibility for registration) with AHPRADemonstrated skills in musculoskeletal assessment, manual therapy, and exercise-based rehabilitation across a range of conditions.Experience or strong interest in sports physiotherapy, including athlete rehabilitation, strength and conditioning support, and return-to-play planning.Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and to coordinate care for clients from Medicare, DVA, NDIS, WorkCover, and private pathways.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate clients and support behavior change toward active, healthy lifestyles.Competence in clinical documentation, basic digital tools, and willingness to work with performance monitoring technologies such as VALD and program platforms like TeamBuildr.Commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing professional development, and adherence to ethical and inclusive care standards.Availability to work part time on-site in Bendigo, VIC; previous community or private practice experience is beneficial but not mandatory.Monthly in office mentoring available with a senior physiotherapist
