Are you a physiotherapist looking for a supportive private-practice role where you can continue developing clinically without being left to manage everything alone?
Body Sense Physiotherapy is seeking a motivated physiotherapist to join our established Joondalup team. We welcome applications from physiotherapists with private-practice experience, as well as early-career clinicians who have a strong foundation and are keen to learn.
You will work within a highly experienced team that includes Specialist, Titled and postgraduate-trained physiotherapists, with protected monthly one-to-one mentoring tailored to your experience, clinical interests and longer-term career goals.
Our recently refurbished Joondalup clinic provides musculoskeletal physiotherapy, rehabilitation and persistent pain management. The caseload is broad and wide-ranging, ranging from everyday musculoskeletal and postoperative presentations to more complex pain, injury and disability cases.

ABOUT THE ROLE
You will:
- Assess and manage a broad range of acute and persistent musculoskeletal conditions
- Provide individual physiotherapy consultations and small-group rehabilitation
- Deliver preoperative and postoperative rehabilitation
- Work with private, workers’ compensation, motor vehicle accident and NDIS clients
- Use education, exercise therapy, manual therapy and contemporary pain rehabilitation approaches
- Collaborate with referrers and multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams
- Involve clients in setting meaningful rehabilitation goals and making informed management decisions
- Attend occasional visits to local gyms and other rehabilitation facilities
- Contribute to a supportive clinical environment through case discussion and shared learning
The position can be structured as either part-time or full-time. Hours are negotiable and may include a combination of morning and afternoon shifts. Optional Saturday morning work may also be available.
ABOUT YOU
You may already be an experienced private-practice physiotherapist, or you may be earlier in your career and looking for the right environment in which to develop.
You will ideally:
- Have some experience managing musculoskeletal presentations
- Be motivated, dependable and genuinely interested in developing as a clinician
- Value evidence-based, person-centred and high-value physiotherapy care
- Be comfortable integrating manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation and education
- Be willing to seek support and discuss challenging cases
- Communicate well with clients, colleagues, referrers and other health professionals
- Be interested in working with a varied caseload that includes both private and compensable clients
We value clinical curiosity, sound communication and a willingness to learn as much as a particular number of years in private practice.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- A recognised physiotherapy qualification
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Current Australian working rights
- Professional indemnity insurance
- Current or obtainable National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
- Current Australian driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle, as occasional travel to local gyms and other rehabilitation facilities is required
DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
- At least one year of musculoskeletal or private-practice experience
- Postgraduate qualifications or further professional development in musculoskeletal, sports or pain physiotherapy
- Experience with exercise rehabilitation or Clinical Pilates
- Experience managing workers’ compensation, motor vehicle accident or NDIS clients
REMUNERATION
$80,000–$115,000 plus superannuation, pro rata, depending on experience, qualifications and suitability for the role.
