Metro Gates & Balustrades, a growing fabrication and installation business in Western Australia, is seeking an experienced Aluminium Fabricator to join our production team in Canning Vale.

This is a full-time position supporting the fabrication and welding of Aluminium balustrades, gates and structural components for residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Fabricate Aluminium components and structural assemblies in accordance with technical drawings

- Cut, bend, shape and form Aluminium sections and sheets

- Perform MIG/TIG Aluminium welding, including seam welding to required industry standards

- Assemble and weld fabricated components into finished structures

- Set up, adjust and maintain welding equipment for various fabrication tasks

- Inspect completed welds and assemblies to ensure quality and compliance

- Maintain a safe and clean workshop workplace





Essential Requirements

- Relevant trade qualification in Metal Fabrication or Engineering Fabrication (Certificate III or equivalent)

- Minimum 2 years’ full-time relevant industry experience in Aluminium fabrication and welding

- Strong experience in MIG/TIG Aluminium welding

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

- Ability to work full-time and commence employment in the near term
