LBL Plumbing is a family-owned plumbing and civil contractor based in Ballan, servicing Greater Western Water, Central Highlands Water and clients throughout Melbourne's western corridor.

We specialise in emergency response including emergency dig-ups to HCB repairs, manhole maintenance, underground road bores, sewer ties and cutbacks, drainage, CCTV inspections, high-pressure jetting and excavation, no two days are the same. Our team delivers critical infrastructure works for Greater Western Water, Central Highlands Water and other key clients across Melbourne's western corridor.

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Senior Civil Plumber to join our leadership team and help drive the next stage of our business.

About the Role:

This is more than a standard plumbing position.

As our Senior Civil Plumber, you'll play a key role in leading day-to-day operations across a wide range of civil plumbing and emergency response projects. You'll work closely with our Directors, oversee field crews, coordinate works on site and help develop the next generation of tradespeople.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, making decisions and wants to be recognised for their leadership—not just their technical ability.

What you'll be doing:

- Leading civil plumbing crews across multiple projects





- Managing Greater Western Water emergency response works

- Supervising underground sewer and water infrastructure installations and repairs

- Planning daily site activities and coordinating labour, plant and materials

- Working safely in accordance with confined space and OH&S; procedures

- Mentoring apprentices and supporting the development of junior team members

- Liaising with clients, water authorities and project stakeholders

- Completing site documentation using digital systems

- Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and professionalism

About You:

You'll be an experienced plumber who enjoys leading from the front and takes pride in delivering quality work.

Ideally you'll have:

- Certificate III in Plumbing

- Experience in civil or underground plumbing

- Previous experience leading teams or supervising projects

- Strong communication and organisational skills

- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions

- White Card

- Current Driver Licence

- Excavator experience (advantageous)

- Confined Space Entry and Gas Test Atmospheres (or willingness to obtain)

Most importantly, you're someone who leads by example, values teamwork and enjoys solving problems.
