Our Medical Practice is constantly expanding and looking for our next team member to join our team on a part time basis to cover a maternity leave position.

We are looking for a Part Time Medical Receptionist for a Maternity Leave Position to join our modern, state of the art practice in Singleton, NSW.

If you are someone who prides themselves on delivering exceptional customer service and patient care this role is for you.

You would manage multiple tasks while providing a seamless service to both medical staff and patients whilst acting with empathy in a caring and supportive space.

Experience with Best Practice software is preferred but not essential . If you have General Practice experience, we encourage you to apply. Experience with Pre-Employment Medicals including mining medicals is desirable but not essential.

Our reception team supports our practice by;

- Welcoming our patients.

- Booking patient appointments for our 6 GP's and 4 nurses.

- Billing and receipting patient invoices to detail.





- Recording messages accurately and ensure they are followed up and acted on appropriately.

- Making and receiving phone calls, receiving and sending emails and scanning documents

- Communicating effectively and efficiently with our clients.

- Assisting with handling occupational health such as Workcover and Pre-employment medicals.

- Opening and/or closing the practice.

To be successful you must be able to demonstrate:

- Excellent time management and organisational skills.

- The ability to work independently with initiative.

- An ability to perform effectively in a rapid-paced, high-pressure environment.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Be available between the hours of 7:45am & 6:00pm.

- Attention to detail.

- Working well in a team environment.

- An enthusiastic and positive attitude.

- Maintaining absolute confidentiality in regard to patient care and all aspects of the practice.
