Prolec Electrical, Heating & Cooling is looking for one experienced, qualified electrician to join our growing Warwick team.

But we’re not looking for just another set of hands.

We’re particularly interested in electricians who can bring additional skills or experience to our team in one or more of the following areas:

- Data & communications

- Structured cabling, data racks, fibre or coax

- Solar PV & battery storage

- Air conditioning installation & servicing

- Commercial electrical

- Security, CCTV or access control

You don’t need experience in all of these.

If you’re a solid electrician with specialist experience in one or two areas , we’d like to talk.

We also invest in training and additional qualifications for the right person.

First things first

This position is for a qualified electrician .

Applicants must hold an Australian Unrestricted Electrical Mechanic Licence.

We are not accepting apprenticeship applications for this position.

The Work

One of the advantages of working at Prolec is that you’re not doing the same job every day .

Depending on your experience and qualifications, your work could include:

- Residential electrical and service work

- Commercial electrical

- Commercial and residential new builds and fit-outs

- Solar PV installations

- Battery energy storage systems

- Air conditioning installation and servicing

- Data and communications

- Switchboard upgrades

- Fault finding and maintenance

- Rural electrical work

We want people to develop their strengths, so if you’ve already built experience in data, solar/batteries,



air conditioning or another specialist area , tell us about it.

No Race-to-the-Bottom Electrical Work

We’re not interested in smashing through jobs just because somebody underquoted them.

We’d rather allow enough time to do the job properly .

Our jobs are scheduled in advance, backed by an admin team and supported by systems designed to keep the field team organised.

That means less unnecessary chaos, less chasing paperwork and more time actually doing your job.

Quality matters more to us than being the cheapest electrician in town.

Who We’re Looking For

You’ll need to:

- Hold a current Unrestricted Electrical Mechanic Licence

- Take pride in the standard of your work

- Be reliable and capable of working independently

- Communicate professionally with customers

- Work well as part of a team

- Care about leaving a job safe, compliant and finished properly

We’d particularly like to hear from you if you also have:

- Open or Restricted Cabler Registration

- Data/communications experience

- Solar and/or battery accreditation or installation experience

- Air conditioning qualifications or experience

- Security/CCTV experience

- Commercial installation or maintenance experience
