MTM Physiotherapy in Duncraig is seeking an experienced, organised and people-focused Practice Manager to join the physiotherapy practice in Perth. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice, while supporting the clinical team and delivering an excellent experience for patients. The role combines practice management with financial administration responsibilities.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Physiotherapy practice
- Oversee reception, administration and patient bookings
- Manage patient enquiries and provide exceptional customer service
- Coordinate and support the clinical team
- Manage accounts receivable, invoicing and payments
- Process private health, medicare, compensable and other relevant claims in conjunction with the admin team
- Process fortnightly payroll, BAS preparation and general bookkeeping if your skills allow
- Reconcile bank accounts and maintain accurate financial records
- Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up payments
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and cash-flow management
About you
- Previous experience in practice management, office management, bookkeeping or financial administration
- Bookkeeping and accounting skills or background would be advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
- Confident using accounting and practice management software
- Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
- Professional, friendly and approachable manner
- Strong understanding of confidentiality and handling sensitive patient information
- Previous experience in a physiotherapy, allied health, medical or healthcare practice is desirable

MTM Physiotherapy in Duncraig is a long established Physiotherapy clinic in Perth's Northern corridor.
We have a team of 10 Physiotherapists and 4 Exercise Physiologists with a support team that includes 6-7 administrative and reception staff.
