CSBS is seeking compassionate, reliable, and experienced Disability Support Workers to support a participant with complex clinical and personal care needs in Little Mountain .
This is an ideal opportunity for support workers who are confident working alongside clinical care plans and have experience supporting participants with higher health support needs. While this is not a nursing role , we are looking for someone who is comfortable providing hands-on support, monitoring participant wellbeing, and following specialised health care procedures.

About the Role
Location: Little Mountain
Employment Type: Casual or Permanent Part-Time
We are recruiting Support Workers to provide consistent, high-quality support to a participant with significant daily support and clinical care requirements.
Duties may include:
- Personal care and daily living assistance
- PEG feeding and mealtime support
- Tracheostomy (Trachy) care and monitoring
- Following individual health care and support plans
- Transporting participants to medical appointments and community activities
- Community access and social participation
- Supporting participant wellbeing, safety, and independence
Shift Availability
Successful applicants must be flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including:
- 6:00am to 2:00pm
- 2:00pm to 10:00pm
- Active overnight: 10:00pm to 6:00am
Availability across multiple shift types will be highly regarded.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience providing personal care and support to people with disability
- Confidence supporting participants with complex care requirements
- The ability to follow health care plans, procedures, and documentation requirements accurately
- Solid observation skills and the ability to identify changes in participant wellbeing
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A calm, professional, and person-centred approach
Highly Desirable Skills
- Experience with PEG feeding
- Experience supporting participants with a Tracheostomy (Trachy)
- Experience supporting participants with complex medical or health-related needs
- Experience attending medical appointments and advocating for participants
- Knowledge of infection control and safe manual handling practices
What You'll Need
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Open Queensland Driver Licence
- Reliable motor vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
- Experience providing personal care supports
- Confidence supporting participants with clinical or high-intensity support needs
- Flexibility to work day, afternoon, and active overnight shifts
