Solid Surface Qld is seeking a dedicated team member to join us in Kunda Park, Queensland. This full-time position focuses on fabricating high-quality laminated benchtops and splashbacks for both commercial and residential projects.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing operation of postformer with duties including trimming laminate, postforming, coving, routing and other duties involved around the manufacture of benchtops and splashbacks.
- Ensuring all work meets strict quality standards and project specifications.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and protected work environment.
- Working closely in a small, dynamic team, as well as independently, to manage projects from start to finish.
What we're looking for:
- Extensive experience with coving, postforming and laminating.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Benchtop Manufacturer.
- Proficiency in the use of power tools is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both in a small team and independently.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
