This is a hands-on role ideal for someone from an automotive, truck, bus, heavy vehicle or machinery parts background who is ready to step up and take greater responsibility.
Key responsibilities
- Parts interpretation and customer enquiries
- Preparing quotes and processing orders
- Stock control, receiving and dispatch
- Coordinating freight throughout Australia
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and manufacturers
- Supporting the Parts Manager with the day-to-day operation of the department
- Taking charge of the Parts Department when required
About you
- Has previous automotive/heavy vehicle parts experience
- Has solid parts interpretation and mechanical aptitude
- Is organised, confident and customer focused
- Takes ownership and follows enquiries through to completion
- Is comfortable working in a busy, practical environment
- Bus and coach industry experience is highly regarded but not essential
