Cockburn Toyota is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our dealership in the role of Senior Diagnostic Technician .

Your responsibilities will include:

- Diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle faults

- Performing advanced fault-finding using Toyota diagnostic equipment and software

- Vehicle servicing and repairs across a range of makes and models

- Acting as a technical point of reference for junior technicians and apprentices, providing guidance and mentoring where required

- Following correct procedures when carrying out warranty work, including detailed diagnostic reporting

- Ensuring commitment and compliance to OHS and other company policies

- Contribution to reaching monthly customer satisfaction targets

What we are looking for:

- Qualified Mechanics with substantial experience as a Diagnostic or Senior Technician

- Robust knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems, with proven advanced diagnostic ability

- A current Motor Mechanic Trade Certificate or equivalent

- Experience with Toyota diagnostic tools and systems highly regarded (or demonstrated ability to quickly upskill)





- A current valid Driver's License

- Ability to work autonomously, under pressure, and meet deadlines

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to service advisors and customers

Reporting to the Workshop Controller, you will work as part of a solid team, taking the lead on complex diagnostic work to ensure repairs are carried out at the highest standard and that customer satisfaction is always exceeded.
