The Role
Due to our continued growth, we are seeking an Electricial Service Technician to join our team, operating throughout the Sunshine Coast. Duties will involve the installation and maintenance of various plant and equipment with a variety of our well-known customers.
Essential to this role is a good electrical understanding and communication skills. Qualified technicians in the electrical and refrigeration fields are most welcome to apply.
Key Competencies
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Current Queensland Electrical Licence essential.
- Strong understanding of Section 8 Verification of AS3000.
- Safety Switch Testing and reporting, service, installation and repair of general electrical equipment. (Exit/Emergency Lights, Lights, power circuits etc)
- An ability to navigate, understand and troubleshoot electrical installations and electromechanical control panels.
- Have a diverse range of skills on Commercial aspects of electrical installations - Refrigeration/HVAC equipment favourable.
- Perform Electrical switchboard retrofit, upgrades or new installations (Domestic/Commercial).
- Perform Switchboard condition assessments with sound computer literacy to complete required reports and certifications.
- Have a strong understanding of HSE practices and continual improvement processes.
- Strong professionalism and presentable appearance.
- Excellent client relation skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Willing to undergo national police background check.
- Full valid drivers’ licence.
- Hold or willing to gain – Working at heights ticket, EWP licence.
