Parts Interpreter – KW Services WA
Full-Time | Perth, WA

KW Services is looking for a capable, experienced and motivated Parts Interpreter to join our growing team.

We specialise in the inspection, service, repair and parts support of Elevated Work Platforms (EWPs), Forklifts, Truck-Mounted EWPs and other plant and machinery , and we’re looking for someone who can take ownership of the parts function and keep our workshop, field technicians and customers moving.

The Role
As our Parts Interpreter, you’ll be the key link between our technicians, customers and suppliers. You’ll be responsible for identifying and sourcing the right parts, managing orders and keeping accurate records from enquiry through to delivery.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Interpreting and identifying parts from machine details, parts manuals and supplier information

- Responding to parts enquiries from technicians and customers

- Sourcing and pricing parts from local and interstate suppliers

- Preparing parts quotes and processing orders

- Ordering parts for workshop and field service jobs

- Following up outstanding orders and backorders

- Receiving, checking and allocating incoming parts

- Maintaining accurate parts and supplier information

- Building strong relationships with suppliers

- Monitoring stock levels and assisting with inventory control

- Working closely with our service team to minimise equipment downtime

- Providing responsive support to customers and the wider KW Services team

What We’re Looking For
Ideally, you’ll have previous experience as a Parts Interpreter, Parts Coordinator or Parts Advisor , particularly within forklifts, access equipment, heavy equipment, automotive, trucks, agricultural machinery or a similar mechanical industry.

You’ll also bring:

- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude





- Confidence interpreting parts diagrams and manuals

- Good computer and administrative skills

- Strong attention to detail

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- The ability to manage multiple orders and priorities

- A proactive approach to chasing suppliers and solving problems

- Good organisation and follow-through

- The ability to work independently while being part of a close-knit team

Experience with forklifts, EWPs, cranes or material-handling equipment is highly-regarded, but isn’t essential for the right person. Our current Parts Interpreter will be available for on-the-job training.

A current, unrestricted Australian drivers licence is required.
