PURNELL is looking for a SUPERSTAR to join our warm , professional and proactive team located in our Kingston office as our Leasing Manager.

The successful applicant will ideally have experience in real estate (but not essential) and a strong desire to deliver superior service to our valued clients. We require a person who is well spoken , very well presented and with a can-do attitude .

As PURNELL's leasing manager , you will be responsible for ensuring our properties are leased quickly to the best applicants.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

- Prepare properties for online advertising including but not limited to booking and attending photoshoots, entering property and lease details into CRM and writing property advertisements

- Responding to and managing online and phone enquiries

- Conducting mid-week and Saturday open homes plus private inspections as required

- Matching suitable tenants to vacant properties

- Conducting ingoing, outgoing and routine inspections as required

- Selecting and reference checking appropriate tenants

- Managing lease negotiations

- Preparing and signing lease agreements

- Working in cooperation with other staff to answer the company mainline. Taking accurate messages or fielding/answering all routine and non-routine questions

- Managing and responding to all incoming emails and regular mail in a professional, courteous fashion daily





- Ad hoc administration duties

Skills and Experience

- Current ACT Real Estate registration or license is highly regarded but not essential

- Customer service experience is required

- Current Driver’s License

- Immaculate presentation

- Proven ability to prioritise a range of demands, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy in a high-volume work environment

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Robust interpersonal skills

- Excellent grammar and spelling skills

- Understanding of and ability to apply occupational health and safety principles
